Artists of the Twin Cities: Are you looking to make some cash this summer and create some cool art using unusual materials? City Pages has the contest for you.
We're collaborating with the Minnesota Lottery to commission an artwork made entirely of lottery tickets. We will provide the tickets, you will provide the creativity. The work will be showcased at this year's Stone Arch Bridge Festival, and the artist whose submission we select for the project will be paid $500.
We're looking for proposals that celebrate the best of summer in Minnesota (yes, it will be summer some day soon). Think sunny days at the lake, awesome music festivals, outdoor farmers' markets, and bike rides on the Greenway.
The mosaic must be at least 18" x 24", and the MN Lottery will give you $500 in recycled lottery tickets to work with.
Another rule? You must be old enough to play the lottery, so this is an 18-plus contest.

The deadline is fast approaching — it's April 25.
